By dora – December 12, 2016Okay I have to say I was searching for a LONG time for a set for my car. I have a 2007 Buick Lucerne V6, for reference. I’ve looked at the photos, and read the reviews… good and bad. And honestly, I’m glad my fiance picked this set out. I read in some reviews to watch the instructional video, but I’m a rebel and decided not to. It didn’t turn out bad at all. Took me longer then a few minutes to put them on but in the end the look and feel GREAT.

Are these machine washable and able to throw into dryer?

can these covers fit a 2016 Honda CRV EX?
Thank you for your interest.Our covers are semi customized to fit most vehicles. As long as both your front and rear head rests and arm rests are completely removable, and there are no built-in seat belts in the seats, then these covers should fit your 2016 Honda CRV EX seats nicely. Please keep in mind we do not guarantee a perfect fit, for they are designed for a universal fit. Most of our products on our website also include dimensions in the pictures that you can use to compare to your seats.
I am skeptical about the claim these are air bag compatible. In what way are they compatible with the kind of airbag built in to the side of the front seats ( as identified by the tags stitched right into the outboard seat seams)? What in the design addresses the potential interference with airbags, and how does that work? How has this been tested? Was it done by an independent testing organization? Can I get a report from them? Does Honda itself comment on these as to compatibility? Is there any certification from a government agency? Yes, a lot of questions…but a serious issue.

The reason for this is the special stitching on the side of the cover that allows the Airbag to deploy and does not hold the Airbag in.
